JCDecaux has welcomed New Zealand’s largest food rescue organisation KiwiHarvest as its latest charity partner to join its social impact initiative, JCDecaux HEART.

Now in its second year in New Zealand, JCDecaux HEART is dedicated to supporting charities and not-for-profit organisations that are creating meaningful change for communities across Aotearoa.

Angela Calver, CEO of KiwiHarvest, said: “At KiwiHarvest, we believe good food should not go to waste when so many are in need. Partnering with JCDecaux through their social impact program HEART gives us vital visibility to raise awareness and support for our mission. We’re incredibly grateful for this opportunity to amplify our impact.”

Phil Eastwood, General Manager, JCDecaux New Zealand, said: “JCDecaux HEART is about using our visibility and national platform to support organisations doing essential work. KiwiHarvest’s commitment to community impact is clear, and their model is a smart, practical solution to a widespread issue. We’re proud to back them and the difference they’re making.”

KiwiHarvest becomes the fourth organisation to join the program and is aligned to all of HEART’s founding pillars, Community, Environment and Health. A leader in food rescue, KiwiHarvest reduces food waste and food insecurity by collecting surplus food and redistributing it to those who need it most across New Zealand.

KiwiHarvest joins existing JCDecaux HEART partners Catalytic Foundation, Cure Kids, and Kaipātiki Project, each aligned to one of HEART’s core pillars. Together, these partnerships enable JCDecaux to deliver a diverse and meaningful contribution across social causes, amplifying efforts that support the environment, improve health outcomes, and build stronger communities.

JCDecaux HEART is an extension of the company’s global commitment to responsible business, leveraging the power of Out-of-Home to deliver positive social impact.
