On a pathway to net-zero by 2050
JCDecaux New Zealand re-instated carbon zero certification through Toitu Envirocare in early 2022 after a rigorous 18 month audit of our business. A New Zealand based certifier, Toitu Environcare enables businesses to implement programs to measure, manage, reduce and offset climate impacts.
From 2024, we will move from "net carbonzero" to 'Carbon Reduce" programs, aligned to our net-zero targets.
As a global business, JCDecaux was the first Out-of-Home organisation to join RE100, a global initiative committed to 100% renewable energy. JCDecaux is the only local Out-of-Home business to meet RE100 standards.
