AUCKLAND: Leading Outdoor company, APN Outdoor, is providing media support for Not-For-Profit (NFP) DineAid, from November 2013 until January 2014. The campaign raises much-need funds for City Mission.
DineAid was created four years ago by world-renowned chef Mark Gregory. Each year during the initiative, diners are encouraged to eat at participating cafes and restaurants throughout the country and add $2 on to their bill, which is then donated to DineAid.
Now in its fifth year, DineAid has raised almost $400,000 with 100% of the raised funds going to City Mission Food Banks in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, which distribute goods to 140 locations around New Zealand.
APN Outdoor will donate $20,000 in billboard media value to DineAid to use over November and December. The Outdoor campaign will use the power of Outdoor advertising to raise awareness of the initiative and to inspire New Zealanders to get out there and visit any of the 150 restaurants or 200 cafes all participating in this worthy cause.
Phil Clemas, APN Outdoor General Manager – New Zealand, said; “DineAid is a simple, straightforward way for all New Zealanders to help people who need it most. This is our third year of providing media support to the campaign and we will continue to commit to this smart initiative.”
