Objective

Raise awareness of the water shortage in Auckland, and encourage audiences to save water.

Approach

To quickly build awareness and drive audience engagement, Watercare is running a water usage meter across a selection of high-reaching Digital Large Format touchpoints in Auckland.

Execution

Watercare's water usage meter provides a 7-day rolling average (of water use) and is updated daily to reflect current water consumption levels. The topical, and very relevant, creative messaging, and highly visual progress graph, command audience attention and engagement and encourage Aucklanders to be more mindful about their water use.
