Objective

Build hype and encourage participation in the annual McDonalds Monopoly game, conveying the message that 2020's games is bigger than ever, with $93 million dollars worth of prizes on offer.

Approach

To achieve the brand objectives of maximising awareness and building excitement, we hand-picked the biggest and boldest Digital Large Format and Static Spectacular touchpoints across New Zealand.

Execution

McDonalds ran a national campaign across our Large Format network. Digital was used for dynamic executions, including a countdown creative commencing a week out from the start of the game, as well as a widget with a running tally showcasing how many prizes had been won upon launch. Quality, high reaching Spectacular sites were used to complement the digital component, serving as an additional reminder for audiences to take part.
