Let’s go back to basics. ‘Efficiency’ is how well an organisation handles resource allocation, while ‘effectiveness’ is about measuring success. The former is about thinking small, the latter about, well, thinking big.

Mark Coad, the CEO of PHD Australia, is a very firm believer that we all spend too much time discussing efficiency.
