‘Tis the season of wellness as Kiwis embrace healthy habits

Aug - 2020

Increased focus on health and wellness presents a strong opportunity for brands

One of the strongest trends to emerge in 2020 has been an increased focus on health and wellness. The COVID-19 pandemic has encouraged people to prioritise their health, as well as the health of their family and friends, and take precautionary measures to proactively manage their immunity. In a recent JCDecaux IRIS study, results showed that 24% of Kiwis focused on eating more healthy foods during the stage-4 lockdown.

As winter comes to an end, health continues to be top-of-mind for many New Zealanders, who want to maintain these habits through the change in seasons. For health brands, this creates a prime opportunity to leverage the increased interest in all things wellness.

Large Format is the perfect platform to engage and educate New Zealanders on the benefits of continuing to manage their day-to-day health.

64% of household shoppers noticed FMCG brands or products advertised on Large Format when they were out-and-about.
